Mia Abagale Tallarico was born December 22, 1978 in Mary Hitchcock Hospital in Lebanon, New Hampshire to parents Steven Tyler & Cyrinda Foxe. When Mia was a baby her dad wrote a song for her, "Mia", which appeared on the Aerosmith album Night In The Ruts. Steven already had a daughter (Liv) with model Bebe Buell in 1977. Although Mia & Liv were friends, for several years they didn't know they were related. Though they were married Steven & Cyrinda weren't living together and Mia spent most of her chilhood in Sunapee, NH with her mom. Mia's parents divorced in 1987. Later Steven & now ex wife Teresa have given Mia 2 more half siblings; Chelsea & Taj. In 1990 Mia moved to New York City where she attended Manhattan's Professional Children's School. Mia describes her mom as being bi-polar & as a result their relationship was rocky-esp. after her mom wrote a tell-all book, Dream On, in which Mia considered to be in poor taste. During high school Mia began doing drugs, inc. many over-the-counter diet pills & also began cutting herself. Though she quit the drugs after her father got her into rehab, the issue of self-abuse has been a continuing issue for Mia. It was in rehab where she got a call offering her modeling work & despite her reluctance, she went on to become a plus-size supermodel. Cyrinda was diagnosed with a brain tumor & died in late 2002; but not before she & Mia patched up their relationship. Earlier in 2002 Mia met Papa Roach drummer Dave Buckner at the taping of MTV's Icon: Aerosmith. In the Spring of 2003 Mia moved from NYC to live with Dave in Sacramento, CA. In Summer 2003 Mia & Dave got engaged. They eloped on stage at the 10/25/03 Las Vegas, NV Aerosmith show & got married in Sacramento in Feb. 2004. They divorced in Summer 2005 & Mia moved to LA. Aside from her unofficial job of promoting self-esteem among her fans, she's working on various projects inc. a band & a line of makeup.
