GOOD OL' COUNTRY / WESTERN / MOUNTAIN MUSIC

About Me

HOWDY y'all:My Name is EARL MARSHALL, I am from the "Almost Heaven" Mountain State of West Virginia, I was the 8th child of 13 siblings, born in a small mountain-side cabin, but reared by my Aunt and Uncle because of the Hardships and sickness back in those days. After graduating from High School, I served in the U.S. Army with the 3rd Armored Division in Germany. (1959-1962). "YES", I did know ELVIS in case you are wondering (but only for his last 2 months tour of duty). After my military tour of duty I attended three yrs of college at W.Va. State. But suddenly, for no apparent reason, I uprooted myself from my family and beloved mountains, and replanted myself in the suburbs of Tampa, Florida, (by way of Hollywood, California), far from the things I love the best. This change I haven't regretted too much, ... although I "DO" very often, get homesick when the mountains seems to call out to me, beckoning me back to its natural scenic wonders and majestic beauty. It is within these mountains, that I get my internal strength and inspirations from. (Flat-landers "don't" and "can't" understand things like that).I am a "CLASSIC" Country Western singer and song writer, I play the guitar. I also sing Country Mountain ballads, Gospel hymns, not failing to mention "Politically In-correct" Songs for humor and fun.Throughout the years, I have associated myself with such musicians from both The GRAND `O OPRY and HEEHAW. I have performed with Nashville recording artists; LARRY KIRBY, CARL WADE and BARBARA SHAFFER, (http://www.carlwade.com), VALERIE SMITH and LIBERTY PIKE, BOB COOK _Piano player, and CANDY SUE PEILTZER (Nashville Gold Record recording artist). Classic Country

When one thinks of; "the country", one thinks of the rural farming communities between cities, with it's rolling hills of planted crops and hillside grazeing of horses and cattle.  ...
