Knock-knock Slingers...it's almost "Valentines Day"!
Our new slingle "Valentine" is almost done, maybe it is, we haven't decided yet. Some sneak previews have gone to publishers and a few "Podders" who continue to play our previous releases. As soon as we collectively give the mix a "wink and a nod", we'll have it up on myspace.
And did you hear? "Apology" was voted 2007 runner-up song writer's Song of the Year by songoftheyear.com which supports VH1's "Save the Music"! We're very proud and thankful to everyone that helped us with "Apology" as it continues to open more doors for us.
Meanwhile all of our slingles are getting more airplay in the US, continuing in Japan, and now Australia. We thank all podders, regional slingers, and publishers who are growing in numbers and interest.
The Sling 5 song CD which tells the Story of our character Sling, Jack, and his Mean Machine freaks at the "Blue Ruby" is available on most all the popular sites for down load and soon to be purchase: Itunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, & Napster to name a few. But Bill's artwork and the lyrics which all work together, make it worth having "the goods" versus just the digi-chips.
We continue our sessions for "Saints & Sinners" this weekend with Glenny. It's our tribute and donation to the on-going plight of Katrina survivors. We look forward to the energy it will bring as the rebuild you DON'T see on camera these days is still very slow and very much still work in progress.
That's about all for now - Thank you all for stopping by, next update is getting "Valentine" up & running, see you then!
Ciao - jaco
