LYRIC DA GOD The company was started by Lyric in september of '06 after he turned 21. Its been on his mind since 8th grade after seeing the success of Master P, Puff Daddy, and Russell Simmons. "I didn't want a job where I'd be stuck in a cubicle for the rest of my life" are the words of 8th grade lyric. He always kept his ear to the street and had and eye for talent. When he was 16 he got an internship at Merlot Studios/Records. There he first learned how to work a mixing board, how to book sessions, deal with artist egos, and run a company. After high school he went on to graduate from the Musicians Institute in hollywood, ca as a recording engineer with straight A's and top of his class. The birth of his son made him take matters into his own hands after being frustrated with working long 80 work weeks just to have enough money to be broke. Best Coast what thought up while in college as a way of bringing back the west coast which is seen as dead to alot of the world if your not Dre, Snoop, or The Game. So with his hw on the game done and a team of talented, hard working artist, make room for Best Coast Ent.!!

C "DOT" VERSY. This is the artist side of Lyric. He started with poetry in the 5th grade as a hw assignment and continued to pursue it once he saw he was good at it. Rap didn't come in until he was 16. He wrote before then but it wasn't official til he met Stevie Franklin, a fellow student who rapped and sparked the fire within him. He's about story telling and just all around being real at all times. Look out for him at any stage near you.

YUNG CITY. Growing up in the city of Los Angeles, California, City always had an N.Y state of mind. Strongly influenced by East Coast music, city began to make beats at the age of 14. Wanting to be a rapper at first but with no money to buy beats, city had no choice but to make his own. He later ..ed producing for local acts and for groups at his high school, Huntington Park H.S. It was there that city first got his big underground brake, landing a spot as a producer on Spoken Truths first street album, Truth Be Told. Put up on game by his best friend Esco, he contacted Spoken Truth and got the spot for 12 tracks. Waiting for the album to officially drop, he still kept grinding and is currently in talks with Spliffington of Spliffington Management. Should the deal go through, it will put city’s foot in the door and give him the opportunity to work with artist he has only dreamed about. Look out for his solo mixtape, Now… Dropping Early 08’.

CYNTHIA NICHELLE. Cynthia Nichelle was born and raised in Pasadena California. It was there that at the age of 2 years old Cynthia Nichelle's mother & grandmother discovered what would later be Cynthia Nichelle's life passion........she could sing. At that very moment they began rearing and instructing her, helping her to develop the angelic voice she sings with today. Although once a very shy child she knew as a small child she wanted to share her gift with the world; which began a whirlwind of casting auditions, commercials, beauty pageants and talent shows. Now as a young woman she is experienced and mature enough to write deep true to life songs, and deliver them with a smoothly textured, wide ranged, charismatic voice. When she sings her pride is diminished and for that moment she is emotionally nude, sharing all that is within her..
Born and raised in Los Angeles California, Kelly Kines grew up against
the backdrop that would fuel her hopes and dreams. Facinated with music
from an early age, she began writing songs in middle school. Shortly
after high school she interned for various indie labels around
hollywood (Vocab and Del Oro Music). Having such a drive and passion for
learning about the business, Kelly began networking with the industry
directly forming contacts with Baby Ree ceo/ producer Damion "Damizza"
Young, Inglewood natives Shade Sheist and N.U.N.E (PYO Entertainment),
IDJ/Maroon Entertainment Marketing Director Gina Rainville, and Mariah
Carey,among others. She is currently working on receiving her B.A
degree in Marketing and hopes to bring creative insight to Best Coast
Entertainment by ressurecting the A&R position; hoping to prove women
can contribute positvely to the "male dominated" business side of the
music game.
LONGTIME WAITING. We are a 3 piece pop/punk band straight out from Los Angeles, CA. Longtime Waiting was created in the summer of 2006. We play a lot of up beat music to make and keep people jumping. We have played in famous venues like The knitting factory, A whisky a GO GO, the Roxy and B B KIngs. Longtime Waiting has a lot of energy and showmanship and great songs that catchy riffs as well.
At the young age of 14, Raul’s love and passion for
music blew up! His extensive vinyl collection started
almost eight years ago and has the likes of Gil Scott, Isaac Hayes, Sade
up to the early 90's Hip-Hop like A Tribe Called Quest and Souls of Mischief.
Influenced and inspired by the best Scratch Dj's of our time, Mixmaster
Mike, Q-bert and Dj Shadow, Raul purchased his first
decks at the age of sixteen and has been mixing and
spinning music ever since! This one time bedroom dj
has gotten his breaks and is ready to work with the
best! Now a part of In Sound Entertainment as well as
LD Entertainment, Dj Cue is working with up and coming
artist Tay-C, mixing and spinning at live shows and
clubs, producing mix-tapes, and is itching to work and
blow up with other fellow artists! Dj cue has finally
had the opportunity to break out of his shell and this
is only the beginning!
