About Me

Started as a "family party" band in 1996 out of Kakaako park with original members, Ian Shiroma (Uke), Keola Barretto (Guitar), Mike Salsedo (Bass). Did our first "real" gig on Valentines day 1997 at an elementary school for 50 people. Broke into the "gig circuit" in 1999 at Scoozies in Ward Center with Randy Malacas on Bass. Added Trevor Ishihara on uke/vox and later Darin Jitchaku took Randy's place. Auditioned at Mai Tai's in March of 2000 and got the gig. Knowing we needed a drummer, we added Chris Luke in August 2000. Played for 5 years and shuffled around guitarists. In Feb '06 Chris jumped on guitar, and we got Chris Pe'a to play drums.

We play a variety of local music, and try to mix it up with other styles.
