I may be a shorty but I'm definitely big at heart...

About Me

This semester I will be graduating from University of West Oahu with a Bachelor Degree in Public Administration as well as a Certificate in Health Care Administration. In the future I hope to pursue a career in where I will be dealing with kids from young as baby toddlers to the age of maybe 10. Now if you ask why receive a Bachelor in PUBAD when there is no relation to the kind of career I would like to get into? My answer to that is that I made a mistake in which degree to go for. I realized only now that it would be better for me to have gone for either a Psychology or an Early Education degree. I believe either one of those degrees would have been far more suitable for me. So the reason why I enjoy working with kids is because for me, it has always been an easy task to connect with them. I always had believed that these kids are our future. Well on that same note, for the past 4 years I have been receiving a taste on what it is like to work with kids because once a week I do volunteer at Shriners Hospital for Children as a Recreational Therapy Aid Assistant. My job there is basically to interact with the kids in any sort of way such as arts and crafts, music, board games and even simple as talking stories to one another. Our main objective as volunteers is to make sure the patients feels comfortable.
