I reside in beautiful Southern California. (And I couldn't imagine living anywhere else.) There are many beautiful beaches here: Torrance, Redondo, Hermosa, Manhattan, Santa Monica, Malibu and many others. I would have to say though, that Venice and Santa Monica are my favorite beaches. You can meet so many different people, from different walks of life. At any given time. I find that fascinating. I was born in Chicago, Illinois and came to Cali. when I was 2 years old. I am the youngest of 4 children. An older brother, older sister, another brother and Meeeee. I love roller blading, hiking, & walking my two doggies Grizz & Princezz. I enjoy cooking and eating Mexican, El Salvador (cheese pupusas - YUM!) & Creole dishes. I also love Hawaiian, Indian, Asian & Samoan food. I'm fluent in Spanish and growing up I was raised around may different cultures, without having to travel around the world. I am always asked if I am part Asian and the answer to that is "No". I come from a very racially mixed heritage. My father is Cherokee Indian and African American and my mother is Creole (African American/French/Spanish), Cheyenne Indian, Blackfoot Indian & Irish. So red hair runs throughout my family. :) But with all of those mixtures I just call myself African American, to make it easy. :) Race is never an issue for me when meeting new people. I don't think that it should ever matter in a relationship. Sometimes when you meet a person your heart and senses just take over and you're rendered helpless. If ya think about it, small children never notice color either. They just want to make new friends. :) Growing up with diversity is what helps round out our adaptability to different circumstances. The more we are exposed to different looking people and different cultures, the less likely we will be afraid to welcome them into our lives. While you can never judge a book by its cover, I believe its important to take the time to read the book before you make the decision to keep it or take it back to the bookstore.(smile) I enjoy trying new things and meeting new people with open and adventurous minds. Manners are everything to me, so I believe in being loyal, honest, respectful, kind and polite to everyone. I love to see people happy, smiling and laughing. That really warms my soul. Laughter to me, is the key to keeping your soul healthy. My philosophy on life is that there's beauty in everything around us, but it is up to each of us to be open enough to recognize it when it is set in front of us. :)Well, enough about me.
