contemporary dance and choreography, sexuality, gender, ethnic studies, dreaming of a return to paris (for a day or indefinitely) or maybe to bangkok or maybe just to new york, equality/advocacy, working it in my women's jeans (denim is unisex afterall), new people/places/perspectives, my two nieces, belting R&B females, and of course good food- finding it, making it, and eating lots of it.
People who will challenge me with sweaty battles on the dance floor and intellectual wars over coffee. I’m so thankful for the people in my past and present who have acted as catalysts in reshaping my perspective. I’m always open to new people to shake up my world a little bit. I admire infectious personalities- addictive giddiness, shared passions. I admire people who will admit that we’re all dorks about something and that in reality no one is mentally and emotionally stable. I admire openness, sincerity, honesty, and the ability to make oneself laugh.
