Hello! My name is Turanga Leela, but everyone just calls me Leela. I'm 25 years old, and I'm captain of the Planet Express Ship at Planet Express Delivery Company. People describe me as tough, determined, no-nonsense, thoughtful, and serious. But I do kid around sometimes. But. Barely. I live in New New York City with Bender Rodriguez, Phillip Fry, Amy Wong, Hermes Conrad, Prof. Fransworth, and Dr. Zoidberg, who also work at Planet Express Delivery Company.
And for all those nosy question askers, 1) yes, I'm a mutant, and 2) yes, I only have one eye. Um, I was an orphan, and I grew up at the Orphantarium, but I know who my parents are, sadly. They're.. ugh.. Turanga Morris and Turanga Munda. But anyways.
My former jobs were Cryogenic Assignment Officer and a Pizza Delivery Girl. Yeah, they sadly failed. I mean, it's not that sad.. but yeah. My former boyfriends were Sean, Alkazar, Chaz, Zapp Brannigan.. (not really, it was an accident!).. and.. um.. Fry (but only for a time-skipping period!)
And I feel I should be totally honest with my fans, so I will admit one secret: I slept with Zapp Brannigan once after feeling sorry for him. Yeah, I know. But, it was an honest feeling of pity!
