Curls Studio
I draw and write a comic strip called Curls, about a gal who hangs out with cute animals and a piece of toast. I also draw a comic book called Kid Roxy and its companion book, Black Magic Tales.
I have exhibited at New York Comic Con, Small Press Expo, Baltimore Comic-Con, Heroes Convention, DC Counter Culture Festival, and Big Art Show. My illustrations and cartoons have been published in USA WEEKEND Magazine, Virginia Living, The Commonwealth Times, The Connection, Heritage Forum, and Gentle Graffiti, among other publications.

Promoting Smart Design
Beyond my self-motivated work at Curls Studio, I work as as a designer at a design firm specializing in branding and communications in the Washington, DC area. I also volunteer my time as an active AIGA member and event volunteer and was selected to serve on the AIGA DC Board of Directors. AIGA is the professional association for design. In addition to AIGA, I was invited to be a member of the nominating committee for the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum's National Design Awards. Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, Smithsonian Institution is the only museum in the nation devoted exclusively to historic and contemporary design.
