Peg Newell

I am a singer/songwriter who began playing at the age of 13. Early in my teens I worked out the riffs and solos of Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen and Jimi Hendrix, which raised a few eyebrows and gave me critical acclaim. About ten years ago, lead singing inadvertently fell into my lap when the singer of one of my bands had to quit. Even if the neighborhood dogs line up at my back window when I sing, I still keep on keepin' on! Over the years I've had the good fortune to perform with many talented musicians and bands including Phil Broikos, Mike Parker, Joel Ackerson and most recently, the Kim Monroe Band.
