Born Benae Damon Miller JR. July 31st 1990, in Phoenix, Arizona. Obstacles are a part of life for Benae overcoming many of his obstacles very early in his life. Being born with an very rare and unfamiliar Disease that could have caused disabilities or even death. In his early childhood his best friend was his uncle ricky, he took care of Benae early in his life until he was sentenced to life in prison for 3rd dagree murder. He looked up to his grand mother helen after his uncle went to prison, she was a positive and wise women who never let Benae down. Growing up broke his step father out of frustration began hustling and robbing local community stores to support the family but only until his own mother gave him up to the police and faced 10 years in prison. One day when he was only 7 his mother was out he and his friend was playing with his step fathers bullets and a night light. Somehow the bullet fired off and bursted into his leg while the night light exploaded and pierced his friends neck, later he visualized where his life was going and introduced himself to music. Music runs threw Benae's blood with his father being an underground recording artist and grandmother being an x-small time vocalist in Phoenix, this gave him the commitment, passion and desire to be a great artist. Growing up only listening to legends like; Eminem, 2pac, The Nortorious B.I.G, Rakim, Jay-z and Nas he knew he could one day become a legend with only a little effort and commitment. At age 8 he and his friends D'terryn and Rakim formed a rap group called "Thug Troop". D'terryn being as Tiny and Rakim being as Bud Benae was left with out a stage name. So D'terryns older brother Linden suggested that he called himself Baby B. Linden was also a big rapping role model in Benae's life, he help with lyrics and instrumentals and was his number one supporter and fan along with his grandmother helen. In 1999 Benae would have to overcome another big obstacle when his grandmother had a heart attack in her home and past away the next day. Began feeling like if there were a person very close to him he would lose them so he started to keep his distance from others and stuck to rapping. The young group was having big success until the had to split up because of lack of communication, Bud a.k.a Rakim left and moved with his mother in california. So it was down to him, D'terryn and his older brother Linden, in 2001 Thug Troop would finally end when there role model and producer Linden was shot 7 times, 6 in the back and once in his head. D'terryn and Benae would split and end the group and D'terryn left back to his home in New Mexico. So Benae was on his own for a short time period, in middel school he met his new partner in recording, Alondray. With there simular rapping styles they formed a duo group called "Thug Boys" a tribute to his ex rap group "Thug Troop". Origanally Alondray was unsure if he wanted to rap but influenced by his older cousin Kenny. In Jr. High Benae began freestyle battling other people at his school. Lyrically slaughtering every M.C. he faced his talent started improving dramaticly Alondray began realizing his passion wasn't in rapping but in basketbal after his older cousin Kenny shot in his head and went brain dead and months later died he quit rapping then again Benae was left by himself to be a solo artist. Benae's mother knew he had passion and introduced him to an ex local recording artist named pooch and her husband Nathaniel. Nate was a childhood friend to Benae's mother and a good friend to Benae. Nathaniel loved Benae's style and always said "he was the next big thing in arizona hip-hop". Nate was more of a friend then a mentor. He wasn't much of a good role model to Benae because of hustling and drug dealing. In 2003 Benae would lose another big figure in his life when Nate was shot twice in his head and was on life support because of brain damage and past away about a week later. In high school he began including poetry in his rhymes and started getting compared to artists like Nas, Rakim and Mos Def. Benae now awaits his turn in Arizona hip-hop and thanks Willy NorthPole of DTP, Young Hot Rod of G-Unit and Juice of Black wallstreet for opening doors so Arizona artists could get there shot in hip-hop.TRACK 17- CRACK FREESTYLE
