ERIC C. RETTIG, 29, of Cecil, Ohio, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007, at the University of Louisville Hospital, Louisville, Ky., as a result of injuries sustained in an accident. Born Aug. 15, 1977, in Bluffton, Ohio, he was the son of Donnie and Lynne (Mootz) Rettig. On May 9, 1998, he married Monica Lee Coil; who survives. He was employed as service manager for Terex Advance Mixer of Fort Wayne. He is survived by his wife, Monica Rettig of Cecil; a son, Gage S. Rettig of Cecil; two daughters, Taylor N. Rettig and Hannah L. Rettig, both of Cecil; his father, Donnie Rettig of Leipsic, Ohio; three sisters, Heather (Ronnie) Lowe, Amanda Rettig and Arianna Kohlhorst, all of Harts, W.Va.; and grandmother, Sylvia Rettig, Leipsic. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lynne Rettig; and grandparents, Vivian and Charles Mootz, and Ralph Rettig.
