I like to watch things grow and either eat it or cut it down.
I'd like to reconnect with friends I haven't talked to in awhile and meet new friends. Where are all my old friends that I haven't seen in years? Are you out there?
I like good music. If that sounds too simple, it is. As I was driving home from Starscape (an electronic music festival) a few years ago, I found a program called "Stained Glass Bluegrass" a gospel music program. I listened for awhile out of curiosity, but soon realized that I actually dug it and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Bluegrass is the root of Jazz which evolved to rock n roll, which spawned r n b, rap, hip-hop and electronica. I listen to anything that moves me. My most major influences include: Frank Zappa, The Grateful Dead, The String Cheese Incident, Bella Fleck, any Groove or Jam Band, Deep House, Disco House, Breaks, Bluegrass and anything dark and loud. I hate Trance, but love running lights for the floor. It's so dramatic.

I'm a geek. I love Stargate SG-1, Atlantis and Battlestar Galactica. What can I say? Science fiction writers are the architects of our future. Thoughts are things. Anything that becomes part of the collective-unconsciousness become reality. Ever read Aldus Huxley's "Brave New World?" How about anything by Isaac Asimov? Did you know that he coined the words "robot" and "laser" before they were invented? I also really dig reality TV. Mostly naughty children and anything that makes me feel better about my life. My newest faves include The Loop, Earl, Office Space, Dr.Who, and American Inventor.
Harry Potter, Gardening, Self Help (Lord know I need it)
My biggest hero is my best friend and my wife Sarah, who keeps my humble and reminds me to act like a compassionate human being. She is the Yin to my Yang. Big Bird, Martin Luther King, David Dukes, Mother Teresa, Zel Miller, Bill Clinton, Ronald Reagan, Pope John Paul, Frank Zappa, Attila the Hun, Alexander the Great, John Wesleyan, Colin Powel, Gandhi, and anyone who stands up for what they believe in regardless of popular opinion or moral objection. I appreciate intestinal fortitude, not necessarily the cause. Get it?
