About Me

************************************************************ ************************************************************ ********All started off in a drunken haze in 1994 and been hazy ever since.....loud, fast, heavy female fronted punk rock. We have had various releases over the years and many great gigs and tours (France with Red Flag 77 which was ace and the Anal Beard/Asbest/Eastfield UK tour, and the WORM UK tour). Releases from demos (a cassette split with Bus Station Loonies - who are brilliant), to Wishful Drinking (Bomb Factory Records), Hospital Food E.p (Weird Records), Forgotten But Not Gone and Celebrity Hitlist E.p - Anal Beard split (Beat Bedsit), most of which is pretty tricky to get hold of now. The last release is the T.W.A.T E.p. Check out www.combatshock.co.uk for details ._______________________________________________________Unfo rtunately after 12 and a half years we have called it a day with regards to Combat Shock, so thats it. It has been great fun and gave us the chance to play with many excellent bands (in no particular order) such as: Anal Beard, Red Flag 77, Discharge, Beer Zone, Deadline, Sham 69, Flat Pig, URKO, Hard Skin, Worm, Filaments, Chaos UK, Foamers, Bus Station Loonies, Vanilla Pod, Forfiet, Goober Patrol, Newtown Grunts, PMT, TCR, Road Rage, Peter and the Test Tubes, Short n Curlies, The Grit, Slaughterhouse 57, Casualties, Boba Fetish, Runnin’ Riot, Ex-Cathedra, Dog on a Rope, Disorder, Contempt, Active Slaughter, Airbomb, Oily Rag, Imbalace, Panic, H8ball, Dead Pets, Beer Zone, Runnin Riot, Napalm Death, Asbest, Worm, Four Letter Word, and hundreds more _________________________________________________________I would like to say a massive thank you to all the bands we’ve played with and toured with, lent us their equipment and inspired us, the promoters who have put us on over the years, everyone who generously gave up floor space to sleep on, and of course everyone who has ever turned out to the gigs and shown us support, as without all of you the past 12 years would not have been as much fun as it was_________________________________________________________ _THANK YOU._____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________ ___ Most of us I can imagine will move on to new musical projects or something, which we will try to let you know about. Sonny (Drums) is currently playing in Constant State Of Terror, who are ace, so check them out when you get a chance._____________________________________________________ _____ Personaly, I also used to sell Vanilla Pod merch (and normally whoever played with them) for the first few years (about 8 or 9)and had the privilage of being able to travel the country every where else with them many times, including tours to Hong Kong, Australia and Europe with great gigs and bands such as Captain Everything, One Car Pile Up, No Comply, MU330, Howards Alias, Capdown, Twofold,Antimaniax, Nerf Herder, and a ridiculously long list of many others. Cheers & Beers,__________________________________________________ Mooner
