We two will stand as one

About Me

Hello, I'm Laura ... 52 ...
happily married w/children and grandchildren.
I like spending time with friends. Taking photo's (scenery, floral, portrait)
I'm totally in love with my husband ...
he is both lover and best friend.
I like listening to music and reading!
I'm just embarking on an exciting time in my life ...
and I'm looking forward to the journey!!!

I've found that through out my life
I have tried to mold myself into what others want me to be
... and now I'm just going to be me.
I have become more open about my faith in God
... mostly because it's so unpopular to be a Christian
... it's not "cool". Now if we don't stand for what
we believe ... we're going to be laying down more than
our lives.

LOL I like to go to the gym(yeah I gotta get back into that!) ... photography ... graphics ... the lost art of conversation. My Hubby ... My children/Grandchildren. Of course computing

I'd like to meet:

Like minded people ... into the same things ... conversation ... digital photography ... and someday ... my maker ...

You Belong in Fall

Intelligent, introspective, and quite

expressive at times...

You appreciate the changes in color, climate, and mood

that fall brings

Whether you're carving wacky

pumpkins or taking long drives, autumn is a favorite time of year for you

What Season Are You?
What Kind of Flirt are you?

You may not seem like you're flirting,

but you know exactly what you're doing.

You draw people in, very calculatingly,

without them even knowing.

Subtle and understated, you know how to best leverage your sex appeal.

A sexy enigma, you easily become an object of obsession.

What Kind of Flirt Are You?

Music:

Read my VisualDNA ™ Get your own VisualDNA™
I like a wide range ... from classic to country ... not much into the hard driving ... ear drum spilters that I used to like ... like wine ... I have mellowed with age. (wouldn't you just love to try an expensive bottle of wine ... once in your life??) Favorites of the moment ...A Little to Late - Toby Keith Far Away - Nickelback MCR - Welcome to the Black Parade Chris Daughter-Most songs on his new album Rainy Night in Georgia - Benton Brooks, I Hate Everything About You -Three Days Grace...To many to pick from - Nickelback wow ... they just keep knockin em outta the park Mr. Brightside - The Killers - Steriogram And all the oldies from the 70s-80s and in the 90s sort of turned to country

Movies:

I'm really into comedies ... and romantic comedies of the 30's 40's and 50's I like musicals too. Not much on the "new" stuff ... all shock and gore. I like to relax ... smile ... laugh ... without feeling uncomfortable if my kids are there. Sometimes they just push the envolope to far. Ya know?

Television:

I like a lot of the newer ..detective and forensic shows. I also like Angel, and most Vampire shows. DEXTER! What a guy eh? LOL Comedies, like How I met your Mother and King of Queens. Veronica Mars. And CSI's and Law and Order, Crossing Jordon, Bones, Scurbs, Las Vages. Along with the reality series like Survivor, Big Brother, and Amazing Race

Books:

Dean Koontz is really my favorite right now. That can change at any moment though ... :) Odd Thomas and Forever Odd. I like mystery and forensic type reading also. I've read everything out there by Stephen King. But Mr. Koontz is still number 1

Heroes:

My husband ... he succeeded where most had failed ... and I've learned to trust in humanity again ... and hey he's pretty sexy too! My Children ... they are awesome ... they have taught me so much! My Dad ... and my Mom for putting up with him! And doing everything in her power to raise us happy an healthy My Aunt Harriet who was brave enough to carry her daughter to term even though the doctors told her she had cancer and should have an abortion and cemo. She lived 16 years after her daughter was born ... but I can still remember the love in her eyes when she looked at all her children!! True heros the women in my family!! I can only pray I have the courage and strength to measure up!
