Listening to music, riding my bicycle (*dring*dring*), digging in the dirt (not to find the places I got hurt, but to do the gardening), annoying the family cat, being talkative, seeing live bands, fiddling on the internet - music sites mostly but also stuff that feeds my trivia fetish. Also partial to a good run on the odd morning. Not that outdoorsy and I don't fancy the beach. I'm a land-locked land-lover, really. Very much a morning person, but tend to stay up late and wake up late when I'm not working. So sleeping in can be an interest or hobby... I have a number of obscure-ish interests that aren't worthy of mention, but I have them nonetheless, e.g. railways, architecture, museums, etc.
and vegetables...No, just being silly. Actually, I'd love to meet fellow fans of indie, especially live music. I am also keen on the odd traipse about town taking in some good gardens, plays, art and museum exhibitions and finding good subjects for photos (usually buildings and landscapes, but also people - with their permission of course). If any of those appeal, I am certainly interested in getting a group of likely participants together. Learning how to drive a car AND how to ride a horse this year so country excursions are certainly on the cards (with other people driving for the time being). It would be ace for me to get a network of like-minded people together in the real world, using Myspace as a catalyst. People who dropped by for a cuppa and a chat at my virtual kitchen table:

A soft spot for foreign films or crafty yarns with awesome cinematography. B-grade films can be alot of fun, but can't go past the classics in any genre. From Star Wars, to Carrie, to Casablanca.
I tend to gawk at shows on the ABC and SBS. The ads on the commercial channels give me the screaming irrits! I don't have pay TV.
The Mobile Library: The Case of the Missing Books by Ian Sansom
It's hard to have heroes when nearly everyone has feet of clay...oh, alright... I have great respect and admiration for the author, actor and comedian Stephen Fry.
