Well, I used to really like tennis, but I can never find anybody to play with anymore, or the time. I still like it a lot. I like listening to music, hanging out with friends, and watching movies. That last sentence sounds like it was cut and pasted out of a 13 year old boys info.
myself. I always thought that'd be pretty crazy, like in horror movies when the pod people or clones or the character gets attacked by their reflection from the mirror world or the character goes back in time or forward in time and sees themself but can't come in contact with their future/past self because holy shit same matter can't occupy the same space or some crazy shit like that. I always wanted to walk up to myself in the street and talk to...myself. I don't really have a good sense of what I'm like and how others percieve me. I'd like to meet myself and get a good idea of what I'm like from the outside, so I can appraise my strengths and weaknesses. Would I like myself? Who knows, but would anybody like themselves if they met themselves?
I can't stand that guy who is always too cool for whatever you are listening to. You know, that guy who hates things because they are too popular, or sooo 6 months ago. Just because a band sells a few records doesn't mean that they suck. So stop it, stop being that guy. Just because you scored your recording from some guy selling cassette tapes out of his car for food does not make it awesome. Underground does not neccessarily make it better. So do us all a favor and let us enjoy whatever shitty music we please. Thank You. Here's a few of my favorite acts at the moment: Collective Soul, Spacehog, The Roots, Jack Johnson, Foo Fighters, and Tom Petty. If you can find a theme in that, tell me because I don't understand what rhyme or reason goes into my musical taste.
Some Pretty Sweet Movies by My Standards:Lord of War, Life is Beautiful, Willow, Road to Perdition, Flight of the Navigator
The only shows I really watch anymore are The Simpsons, Conan O'Brien, Scrubs, The Colbert Report, Daily Show, and the occasional South Park episode. Oh, and I am obsessed with the History Channel and compulsively watch the news.
The Catcher In the Rye has always been the personal favorite. I know, everybody likes this book, and I'm unoriginal, but its my favorite. I can't say that I hate the entire world of phonies or resent what I come from, but I do identify with Holden Caulfield in a way. Not in what he hates and how he feels, but how he looks at things, how he studies the oddest the little thing. That's what I identify with, obsessing over the most mundane detail and being fascinated by it. Some other favorites are Catch-22, God Knows, Never Again?, Lord of the Flies, and Of Mice and Men
Favorite Superhero- Colossus, because he has metal skin and beastial strength. I'll settle for the Russian accentWriter- Elie Wiesel. Besides being a fantastic writer, definitely worthy of the Nobel Prize (by the way, did you know one out of every seven Nobel Prize winners is Jewish?) Wiesel is a great advocate for human rights and peace.Biblical Figure- I'd have to go with Moses. In my eyes, Moses probably faced the most difficult task of any prophet. He had to not only convince his own people that he was the real deal, but also a pharoah. That took some balls. He also had to have the presence to keep everybody in line for 40 years in a desert. If he was real, he had to have been one hell of a guy
