About Me

I am of Zen Buddhist/Thelemic, Wiccan/Pagan, et al., belief, I LOVE all creatures great and small, but mostly cats, reptiles and amphibians. Mostly cats. Meow. And I know something about most all of them, like a Cliff Claven of animalia. I am of German Czechoslovakian English and Welsh descent, and currently still ashamed to be an American. Loved in California my whole life. Into Photography, Art, Anime, Japanese culture, language and religion, Nature, the Moon, the stars, meditation, books... I don't like fakers, posers, flakes, dishonest people and those who need drama in order to survive. We have enough of that without it being created by anyone lacking. Only true seekers, pure lovers, need pursue me...for I am whole. Unless the sex is amazing.

My Interests

In this order: Cats. Zen Buddhism.(even when I am not living it fully to it's potential) Magic(k)- Thelemic, Egyptian, Wiccan, Pagan. Belly dancing. Philosophical discussions. Intelligence. Dark humour. All Nature, be it the sound of waves crashing against the shore, the wind whistling through the trees or the silence after fresh snowfall. Lying on the ground outside of the City, staring up at the sky and feeling connected. The energy in a club on a good night. Movie night. Dinner parties-whether I hostess or not. Mind over Matter... I have a visual memory, I read as much if not more than I watch movies, so without pictures... The Chronichles of Narnia, A Wrinkle in Time, A Wind in the Door, A Swiftly Tilting Planet, A House like a Lotus, Tao Te Ching, You Have To Say Something by Dainin Katagiri Roshi, (and his second and third book), The Chronicles of Tao, The Emerging Mind, The Hidden Messages in Water (neat stuff), V.A.L.I.S. (any Dick), The cat who came for Christmas, Damnit damnit damnit...I am blanking! Orson Scott Card, Piers Anthony - more than half of it, Stephen King, Gibson, Pat Cadigan, Stephenson, Crowley, Mark Leyner - "My Cousin, My Gastroenterologist", etc.., P.J. O'Rourke, Dan Simmons, Robert Heinlein- " Stranger in a Strange Land"(*One of my all time favs, I have read it at least five times, but if you read it, get the long version), and 90% of the rest of his works, save a couple I couldn't find. Oh, um. Uhhhh... I spent years picking authors in the library and reading every book they had in stock by that person, not to mention the countless wiccan, buddhist, magic books I have perused, or the miles of romance novels I went through as "Fluff reading" since they only take me a couple hours to read. I read books about cats, including Cleveland Amory's The Compleat Cat, which is actually three books, and 95% of "The Cat Who..." Series with KoKo and Yum Yum and Jim Quilleran by Lillian Jackson Braun. I love children's books, and Shakespeare, and poetry, Gibran for example, and Keats and Whitman.

I'd like to meet:

More intelligent fascinating people
