About Me

CWO was started in 1975 in Haiti, and is now--30+ years later--making a difference in the lives of people in the West Indies in Haiti; and, in Africa in Burkina Faso, Kenya, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. CWO employs over 30 Haitian men and women. CWO has a medical clinic in Ouagadougou, Burkiina Faso which sees over 1000 patients each month. CWO has been asked by the government in Zambia to use the HIV/AIDS transformation series with 2,500 of its police force. CWO is giving scholarships for 150 children in Zimbabwe for schooling, counseling, food, and to attend camps. CWO has "shade houses" in Burkina Faso Africa that are providing vegetables to feed children in the Village of Hope. CWO is building a vocational training center in Burkina Faso. CWO is teaching nine (9) young women the craft of sewing in Burkina Faso. Headed by Marie St. Amour, CWO's Feminine Training Center currently has 280 women enrolled in it's two-year program. The Feminine Training Center is recognized by the Haitian Department of Social Affairs and has received several awards for outstanding performance. MyGen Profile Generator
