nephilim: (plural. noun) Hebrew/Aramaic word for half-angel half-human; it means "of those who have fallen". Biblical race of beings who were born unto the "Sons of God" (B'nai Elohim) who fell to Earth and born of human women. Nephilim represents the infinite perspectives, the sparks of Light that teach us about our mistakes and actions so that we can return to the Source by changing our ways and seeking the Creator. ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------------- Mindset aka the Nephilim is an Emcee who has been rhyming for 17 years, on a mission to spread the Word of God to the world and elevate the consciousness of mankind. Born in Brooklyn and raised in Bloomingburg, growing up in an open minded home he was exposed to Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity and Islam and was instilled by West Indian culture in Upstate New York. He was always drawn to spirituality and music. He started rhyming in freestyle cyphers as a young teenager with a passionate love for true hip hop and reggae and was heavily involved in the rave scene as a promoter in a production company called Meridia & Imagery. Mindset loves all genres of music and all genres "of life"... oldschool... new school... with a hippie soul. But there was something driving him and he had not yet realized his true purpose until his extensive study and practice in religion, mysticism and philosophy. Dilligently seeking for truth and witnessing how the world was falling into corruption and conspiracy he had stumbled on the biggest revelation of his life. He had encountered the power and meaning of the true Name of God, YHVH (HaShem) and the true Name of Christ, YHShVH (Yeshua). He realized that Judaism was the path that Yeshua observed and practiced. Once this blessing was given to him he realized that this gift, this skill as an emcee was a powerful tool to enlighten the world in God's Name. His mission is to make aware to the masses Moshiach's (Christ's) return. Submersed in parables of raw underground hip hop with a splash of raggamuffin dancehall reggae, his essence is brutal force of positivity and Light.
