About Me

i am an artist, i am a poet, i am a teacher and a student, an all around free thinker and a hell of a nice guy. i grew up in a small town, joined the coast guard went to a big city, didnt like it, moved to a small arizona town, got married to a schoolteacher, and i live like most other artists. kind of a recluse, a hermit some might say, others may just see me as kind of wierd. but thats all a matter of perspective isnt it? change the perspective, change the person?

My Interests

my interests vary from point to point, i can be interested in anything, as long as its interesting, i am a poet,.. so poetry is a mainstream interest,.. i like to cut rocks,.. and dig turquoise from my mine,... i bead skulls (artwork),... i make leather clothing,.. some of my skulls can be seen at my homepage www.geocities.com/longhaired_desertrat just look under artwork
