About Me

Amplify Your Voice was an idea created by a group of youth inspired to help those in need around the world. The purpose of Amplify Your Voice is to educate youth through music about injustices going on today, and how our un-resolved mistakes of the past have crept into our lives today. The first Amplify Your Voice concert was titled "Amplify Your Voice Against Genocide" and all proceeds of the event went to the Save Darfur Coaltion in effort to put an end to genocide in Darfur, Sudan.
Please stay with us as we will soon reveal our next concert.

Starting in 2003, over 400,000 innocent Darfurians have been murdered and over 2.5 million have been displaced to refugee camps. These camps have now become unsafe because the Janjaweed (the perpetrators of the mass killings) have reached the camps. They rape the girls, and women and kill anyone who wanders a few miles off the camp.
The purpose of the event is to educate youth through music about past and present genocides.
Proceeds of the event will go to the Save Darfur Coalition(www.savedarfur.org) to help put an end to the ongoing genocide in Darfur.
