Birmingham born DJ Danny Whitlock first took to the decks in the nineties admist the hedonistic and glamorous days of clubbing, but after relocating to the city of Leicester it was here that he learned and developed his skills playing at popular nights including Hot Dog, Bubblelove, Good Bye Cruel World and Pure Filth. He became recognised by promotors and clubbers alike as a DJ that never disappoints playing his unique blend of chunky uplifting house music to capacity crowds every weekend. His reputation quickly spread around the midlands and with this momentum Danny established himself as a very well respected DJ on the scene, gaining praise from international peers including Jeremy Healy, Judge Jules, Brandon Block and Pete Tong. During this time he also regularly featured on local radio show DMU fm for their Sunday night after party sessions broadcast playing 'live' mixes across the Leicestershire airwaves.After recently returning to his childhood town of Birmingham Danny has dedicated his time to become a full time resident within the Miss Moneypennys family. and 2008 will see Danny feature at all their key events in the UK and further afield, also headlining the huge and ever popular bank holiday events playing his infamous club classic sets. In between his residency commitments he can also be found playing at Birminghams more exclusive nights including Spin, Bambu, and Dragon Eye as well as supporting fellow resident Jay Dee Thomas at Smile.In addition to his busy DJ schedule this year will see Danny turn his talent to the recording studio producing both his own material and remixing others, he will also be collaborating with other producers and artists thus enabling him to spread his sound to a wider audience and giving him an extra level to infuse this within his live sets, whilst this is new territory to him he has received some positive feedback on his early work.His 15 year strong career has seen him play all over the UK and worldwide taking in Europe, the far east and Australia He has a passion for all types of music so can be equally comfortable playing anything from a funk based set for a VIP Party to a deep minimal one at the more underground venues whilst always infusing a flavor of his beloved vocal house His dedication to his trade can be easily seen wherever he plays never giving less than 100% and using his impeccable mixing ability to keep the rhythm flowing. A true perfectionist in every sense of the word and always at the forefront of new music Danny will keep any dancefloor alight and has been described as a party DJ for party people.
