About Me

I am a 30 year old stay at home mother of four children. I go a little crazy watching cartoons - four year olds don't really care for soaps, so cartoon network it is - and I can only stand to clean house so much, so rather than let myself completely lose it I let my creativity run wild and make all kinds of things. My favorite thing to make is jewelry which I sell online and will be selling at craft fairs if all goes well. I really enjoy doing it and it keeps me sane. I am married to a great guy who supports me completely. He and I have been together for about nine years, now, and I can honestly say I have never been happier.All items pictured are available through my etsy store, Ginger's Gems or through my Mintd store, also called Ginger's Gems. My Interests

I have lots of interests. I am creative so I like to make lots of stuff. I bead jewelry, sew, and paint, among other artistic pursuits. I also love to read and occasionally try my hand at writing but that rarely works out with the little ones running around. They tend to kill my concentration. I am also in school. Ten more credit hours and I will be done with my AA. My favorite classes are always literature or history. Math is miserable. Unfortunately, I have no idea what I am going to do when I finish my AA. My husband says I don't know what I want to be when I grow up.

I'd like to meet:

I would love to make some new friends and maybe do a little networking. Being a stay at home mom can get a little lonely. I love my kids, but I like having contact with other adults, too (besides my wonderful husband).

Music:

I really don't have a favorite song. But I definitely can say that rock music is my favorite, all varieties.

Movies:

My very favorite movies in the whole world are Kenneth Branagh's four hour version of Hamlet and the Lord of the Rings trilogy. All are excellent.

Television:

Right now, I'm not watching too much tv. With it being summer, there really isn't too much on. When new shows come on again I'll be watching Grey's Anatomy, Heroes, and Criminal Minds. I also recently discovered Mind Freak. I'd heard of it before, but never watched it. Very interesting. He is just scary good.

Books:

Right now my favorite author is Laurell K. Hamilton, but I will read just about anything with a paranormal or fantasy theme. I love Anne Rice, too, and Sherrilyn Kenyon. Also Tolkien. Heroes:

I think my hero would definitely have to be my mom. She passed away in March 2006 and that was really hard for me...Still is. I think about her every day and wish things could be different. I'd do just about anything to have her back.
