About Me
My name is Corrine and I am from Zimbabwe. I was born in Ndola, Zambia .Due to political problems in Zimbabwe at the time, My family and I moved from Zimbabwe to the United States in 1989. I went to High School and college in Pennsylvania.I started sculpting stone when I was 21 and haven't looked back, it is my absolute passion and I hope it will be a part of me for the rest of my life ! I've worked in alabaster, limestone, soapstone, verdite and serpentine. My favorite stone to work in is alabaster, it is a semi rigid stone ,but is still able to withstand me chiseling it. When I first started sculpting I was inspired by many of the local sculptors in Zimbabwe,so with my heritage as my backround I now draw my inspiration from everything and anything and feel very connected when I am sculpting. I continue to sculpt and my pieces are for sale. I also create custom commissions to fit any home or work place . If you are interested please contact me. Below are my most recent sculptures !!! This site is still under construction, so please check back for new photos soon. Thanks, Corrine!!!
