my name is lisa, but my best friends call me deese, lili, or leesey.
i live for love, love to laugh, and laugh to shake off the blues. i'm loved. a lot. i know this because i have incredible friends who never let me forget it, thankfully.
i'm a jesus freak! in a very non-threatening, don't want to cram it down your throat, kind of way.
i love my family. i'm best friends with my mom. i look up to my brother more than anyone else on this planet, and i'm a daddy's girl.
i eat, sleep, and drink music; probably couldn't breathe without it. i write songs. i also wuss out when i even think about playing them for someone other than my friends.
i work for an artist management company. we rock ... and so do our artists. ha, ha, ha, seriously though, we do.
i still can't believe i get to work in the freakin music industry! am i dreaming?
i fall in love fast and, harmlessly, crush on everyone ♥. it took me a long time to see deep enough inside myself to recognize it, but i'm a good catch. i'm honest. i'm trustworthy...and devoted, probably to a fault.
i have a fear of meatballs. i'm allergic to strawberries. in spite of the fact that i was called strawberry freakin shortcake my entire childhood.
i'm a good friend, a great listener, and i'm told i give excellent advice. on the other hand, however, i'm impatient, emotional, and stubborn as an ox.
i cry when i'm drunk. i hate traffic, and people who don't know how to drive. i've got this thing where I laugh at really inappropriate moments...and it sucks. i love my job but hate that i have to wonder if new friends are true friends.

I don't think singers, actors, or even atheletes should necessarily be considered heroes...because I think ordinary people who do extraordinary things are the real heroes. But I have been inspired, and influenced by some great writers...
