About Me

I was born in 1987, in Budapest. The bassguitar was love at first sight for me; after two years of playing guitar I heard Marcus Miller’s Ozell Tapes - it was incredible for me. He was for me the first bass idol; then I’ve heard Jaco Pastorius, Tom Kennedy, Victor Bailey, Stanley Clarke, and not at least Matthew Garrison, who is nowdays for me "the deal". Of course I have other influences, like Trilok Gurtu, Juhn McLaughlin, Kaltenecker Zsolt, Herbie Hancock, Jean-Luc Ponty, and the list goes on and on. One year ago I began to learn to play the double bass. In the year of 2007 I managed to get to one of the most famous hungarian musicians institute, the Jazz College of Kobánya, where I can learn from a lot of famous hungarian jazz musicians, like Hárs Viktor, Fekete-Kovács Kornél, Lattmann Béla, Farago Béla, Victor Máté, and so on. In the past years I’ve been playing in different music styles, like funky, rock, reggae, soul, pop, but the closest styles to me are jazz and world music. I’d like to inform you about my concert dates, but it won’t be sure that I’ll have time for it. :) My website is under construction, so visit this site for news! I hope we’ll meet in the future, live or through music...I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
