Matt Freeman

Matt Freeman was first introduced to the underground music scene in 1994 by the way of a rave party " A New Fresh Scent" which was thrown by Illuminator, liking what he heard and saw at the event he then became involved in throwing future events with the ILLUMINATOR crew. Shorty after that he purchased his first set of decks, taught himself the necessary skills it took to grab some bookings and the rest is history. From 1994-2001 he rose from the late night fill in to the friday / saturday night resident dj @ the infamous and now closed ASYLUM nightclub. Since the ASYLUM days Matt has had many resdencies @ such spots as Area 51, Foundry and Hammerjax just to name a few. While holding these residencies he also managed to make appearances @ Pearl, DNA, Masque, Nite Owl, Mad Frog, Redzone, I Lounge and countless underground events. Besides just playing music Matt started up his label FLASHPOINT U.S. which has featured artists such as Paul Birken, Tony Rohr and himself.
