I started working at a night club (1470 West) in 1998 as a bar back cleaning glasses and doing grunt work. I worked my way up the food chain and eventually found myself in the DJ booth covering for a missing DJ. I was given the chance to work one night a week doing high energy dance and mixed genres on Fidays. After a few weeks of DJing Friday's I was asked to cover Saturdays as well. This was the start of the Industrial Gothic night @ 1470 West Night Club. The Industial night ran from 1998 - 2003. During which time DJ Kris and DJ Cap (Carl) held a packed house each Saturday night. 1470 West eventually closed due to management not wanting to renew their lease with the landlord of the building. 1470 West Night Club had been open for a total of 24 years and had only been located in two different venues.
During the time at 1470 I have had many guest DJ's spin with us: Dj Cro, DJ Wicked Goth, Mister E DJ, DJ Copper Top, DJ PleasureKitten, DJ Darks Choir, DJ Artaud, DJ Matt, DJ Batty and several others that have slipped my mind.
Clubs that I have DJ'd at over the years - 1470 West, The Foundry, The Asylum, Vertigo, IGUN, Exile, The Pearl, The Winery.
