Bobby who?

It's a semi-true story, believe it or not. I made up a few things, and there's some I forgot...

About Me

Where to start...
Yes, I really do surf and scuba dive (although it has been quite a long while since I have done either...).
Believe it or not, I am an internationally published poet (I believe I am have 6 different poems in 6 different books).
I did design and built a house.
And, I even founded and ran my own Professional Development Football Team.
In July of 2006, I finally received my B.A. in Earth Science from St. Mary's University (yes, I know... It's about damn time...) along with a Secondary Teaching Certification in Composite Science (that means that I am capable of teaching all Sciences). With that said, it seems as though I do have a few more hoops to jump through now that I am back home.
Since returning home I have been fortunate enough to find the love of my life (Robin, my old high school sweetheart), a beautiful young lady I am beyond grateful accepted my proposal.
We got hitched, back in January, and we are looking forward to a wonderful life together full of family, friends, fun, and everything else that might come along...
Just a quick update... We are expecting our first little bundle of joy sometime around Halloween (the expected date of delivery is Oct. 26th)! We're expecting a baby girl!
I was lucky enough to secure my first ever, true, teaching position, a summer school (2006) Chemistry class, a bit out of my realm of expertise, but still a blast.
With that said, I am still looking for a classroom I can call my own.
All in due time, I suppose... No matter, things are certainly looking up!
As for the sappy side of me, I do love to travel, I enjoy playing putt-putt (even if Robin does cheat to beat me), I enjoy long walks on the beach and slow dancing in the rain.
Anything else that you might like to know, please feel free to ask. I promise, I don't bite... ;-)
Until next time...

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

As odd as this may sound...

I would really like to meet Osama Bin Laden.
Then, after the formal introductions are over...
I'd kick him square in the nuts!

Music:

Honestly, my taste is rather eclectic. My collection ranges from Mozart to Jimmy Buffett, the Beach Boys to Rob Zombie, and so on. As long as it's got a decent beat, it's cool by me.

Movies:

I don't really watch a lot of movies, but when I do love a good, dumb, comedy that has a story line and does not require too much thought (i.e. Van Wilder, Super Troopers, Out Cold, etc.)...

Television:

Again, I do not generally sit down to watch TV too often; however, when I am fortunate enough to get a free moment, I enjoy CSI (Las Vegas), House, Grey's Anatomy, College Football, ESPN News (gotta get current events in some how, right?), etc...

Books:

I'm not really much of a reader. But, I can tell you that any Fictional book by Jimmy Buffett (Tales From Margaritaville, Where is Joe Merchant?, and A Salty Piece of Land) is a define must read... Talk about a colorful imagination, and drawing you into the story...

Heroes:

My hero/heroes, are my folks. They've put up with me and my shenanigans for this long, so they've got to be pretty great people...

What's Next?

What is, is no more. What was, could never have been. What will be, is uncertain.  For I have lost all that I have held near and dear to my heart. Suicidal tendencies?  No! Mind's a jumbl...

This Man

This man, once a youth, a child, the pride, the crowned jewel of his family clan, believed to be the next great thinker, the next prodigy of his time, had seemingly lost his luster. This man had fou...

I Stand Alone

Here, I stand alone, no family, no kin, no friends, I carry with me only memories, fantasies of days, and nights, and loves past.  It is said, no man can live in solitude, in isolation, we all ne...

I am...

I am not seeking accolades, nor bounty. I am not attempting to live my existence in infamy. I am, however, here to inform you that I write from my heart, not necessarily from my own experiences, no...
