Where to start...
Yes, I really do surf and scuba dive (although it has been quite a long while since I have done either...).
Believe it or not, I am an internationally published poet (I believe I am have 6 different poems in 6 different books).
I did design and built a house.
And, I even founded and ran my own Professional Development Football Team.
In July of 2006, I finally received my B.A. in Earth Science from St. Mary's University (yes, I know... It's about damn time...) along with a Secondary Teaching Certification in Composite Science (that means that I am capable of teaching all Sciences). With that said, it seems as though I do have a few more hoops to jump through now that I am back home.
Since returning home I have been fortunate enough to find the love of my life (Robin, my old high school sweetheart), a beautiful young lady I am beyond grateful accepted my proposal.
We got hitched, back in January, and we are looking forward to a wonderful life together full of family, friends, fun, and everything else that might come along...
Just a quick update... We are expecting our first little bundle of joy sometime around Halloween (the expected date of delivery is Oct. 26th)! We're expecting a baby girl!
I was lucky enough to secure my first ever, true, teaching position, a summer school (2006) Chemistry class, a bit out of my realm of expertise, but still a blast.
With that said, I am still looking for a classroom I can call my own.
All in due time, I suppose... No matter, things are certainly looking up!
As for the sappy side of me, I do love to travel, I enjoy playing putt-putt (even if Robin does cheat to beat me), I enjoy long walks on the beach and slow dancing in the rain.
Anything else that you might like to know, please feel free to ask. I promise, I don't bite... ;-)
Until next time...
