At the tender age of 14, Dizzy was cut from the high school basketball team. Devasted by the prospect that he would never become a professional NBA player he turned towards DJing to create a new identity for himself. Dizzy work at his mothers tanning salon dubbed Tan LA, to save up enough cash to split a pair of plastic Numark belt driven turntables. He practiced DJing til the wee hours of the morning til he literally got dizzy (hence the name DJ Dizzy). After 10 years, 8 busted turntables, 4 worn out mixers and hundreds maybe nearly a thousand gigs later he is the proud Founder and President of Mixed Reactions Entertainment. In 2007 Dizzy spun the best of best venues Hollywood has to offer: Mood, Opera, LAX, The KeyClub, House of Blues, Nacional, Highlands, The Lobby, Level 3, Shag, Cinespace, and Facade to name a few in addtion to performing for the likes of Carmelo Anthony, Dwayne Wade, Reggie Bush, Lamar Odom, Ja Rule & Irv Gotti. Hip Hop is his strong arm when it comes to DJing but his passion for music has now opened to spinning all types of genres from House to Electro.
Also a graduate from the Los Angeles Recording School DJ Dizzy has a strong interest in making beats as well, some of which your probably hearing on the myspace page.Dizzy named 2008 OC House DJ of the Year.
