About Me
Pascal Poschmann from the Western part of Germany is only 18 years old. He has got a monthly radio-show on the go at ETN.fm and Ensonic.fm, aswell as monthly guest-mixes on FM stations all over the globe (Holland, Russia, Spain,...).
Pascal got his first equipment as a gift from his parents at the age of 12 years old and has always loved electronic dance music ever since. Through the years Pascal has been influenced by the like Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Jon O’Bir, Mauro Picotto, Fergie and many more, DJ/Producers, these artists played a big part in Pascal wanting to learn how to mix on his decks. Pascal is now more than comfortable with DJing equipment, since he has been mixing for a long time now.Pascal had big ambitions and he had an idea which was to build up his own web-radio station. Pascal started working on it back in 2002 with his plan to have it up and running as soon as possible. The project was called FutureGrooves, Pascal finished the station in 2003. In 2006 the shows have been so popular that it had developed into a 24/7 radio station containing a huge array of DJ talents and big name djs. Due to a lack of time and a lack of people willing to help Pascal out with the station the work he had to do to keep the station alive was simply too much and it was no longer any fun for Pascal doing it, as he didn't get any profit from it and had to spend hours in front of the computer, writing e-mails and getting everything sorted, so that he decided to give up the station and help the DJs to find new stations for their shows. Pascal loves supporting uprising and undiscovered talents and has made a lot of friends in the scene; he now receives a big amount of promotional material from producers and labels for his shows. His current show called “Ding a Ling Sessions†is a 2 hours radio show, which is broadcasted on ETN.fm and Ensonic.fm. The show feature a broad spectrum of styles but has a really nice buildup, lasting 2 hours.
To revive the Trance scene in his area, he has been teaming up with Wellenrausch (Remixes for PPK, Blank & Jones, Track on PvD’s TPOD) and his brother Marcel (acTiv8) to organize a party, playing a variety of trance music the whole night. DJs such Marksun & Brian (Euphonic Recordings) and Duderstadt (Afterglow Recordings, alias Fragma) were invited and were happy to take part in the happening and played besides them for free. In July 2006 he has performed in one of Malta’s most popular clubs for Trance music called “La Grotta†besides Jjoy, Malta’s biggest Trance DJ. There will surely be more of parties to follow in the very near future and Pascal has already been invited to play on some more international parties in the closer future.Recently Pascal has started learning music software. His aim is to produce besides DJing. He has made some big strides on the producing side of things. Pascal has been working with his mate GenesysX, who is of the same age and is from the same hometown Cologne as Pascal. Together with him Pascal will be finishing off their first collaboration soon, which will be entitled “Bankrobbers on Acidâ€. The preview of the track has been sent out to many DJs and labels and has received superb feedback from some major artists in the trance scene and remixes are already being planned.
In his free time, he spends a lot of time with his friends and enjoys nature, which gives him a lot of inspiration and time to chill out. His ambition since he’s still quite young has always been to become a recognized DJ.
Keep a watch on this young talent whom you are sure to hear much more about in the very, very near future.
