Made my Degree in Informatic/Electronic in Stuttgart.. ...and left to Berlin...which was the best decision ever.. the wall was still there and the city was rocking youre fucking socks off....
Just working in the right places and meeting the right people...awesome.Bela B.,Nick Cave,Nina Hagen,Lüde&the Astros....a.s.o. and went with several bands on tour.
Than I travelled with an old friend to Bali...and this was so ultrasupermegaintense..and I felt in love with the Island and started business with leather and silver..,selling it in Germany.
In 89 I met Dimitri(Tresor Club)a real visionary..worked in Bars like UFO,Fischlabor,Ex and PoP.
As the Tresor-Club opened in 91,I worked there first
and created in 93 the Bonito Bar,a Wednesday,free entrance happening,with DJ's like Jeff Mills,Rob Hood,Blake Baxter,George Morell,Woody,Cle,Terrible,Tom Clark...tbc..
and it's still doing under this name in the new Tresor Club.., and the Tuna Garden which was outside Tresor-Club and THE happening in summer...
In 94 Suzi Blond,Cathy Boom (now owner of the Mag.Style & The family Tunes)and me opened the legendary Boutique-Galerie "Groopie Deluxe", with clothes from Patricia Fields,Ana Alcazar..nasty girlie stuff, Sabotage,Dexter Wong, Paul Smith tbc ...our own Fashion Label"Groopie Couture" and had monthly new exhibitions from like Erwin Ross, Jim Avignon,
Wee Flowers,Dadara..tbc. ,
or the traditional yearly Loveparade warmups in front of the shop,with Marc Spoon or Sven Väth and about 500 people..hahahhaaa....
99.,I took over the distribution for Ralph Handschuch..(GQ Designer of the year),worked a short time for Replay,but in 2001..I started to work with bands again and went on tour with ...The Stones, Smashing Pumpkins,
Foo Fighters,Blink182,The Hives,Die Ärzte..aso...
But after a few years I realized, that I missed my friends and family a lot and they are.. super important.
And touring around the world is great, I love it ...but not always...so now, I just pick out some goodies once in a while.
