SouthuNoyz would embark on the journey of showing a combination of true rap skill and R&B influence in every song they recorded to show their musical awareness to both genres.
In Just 6 to 7 months of recording SouthuNoyz was invited to do a concert with the likes of Ja Rule, Destiny’s Child, Hootie & the Blowfish, Kiss, and many other artists in a concert to all the service members saying farewell and welcoming them home as well.

This was extremely important to the members as all of them are currently active duty service members in the United States Marine Corps.

The buzz that was generated from the concert which brought 60,000 service members, spouses, and dependants. Allowed the group to be requested by name to perform with major recording artist touring in Southern California. Such artist as:

Being that this was SouthuNoyz’ first album with no major label nor indie label insight sales were minimal. This never deterred SouthuNoyz because where ever they would perform new fans and other artists were gaining respect for their talents of being able to combine R&B soulfullness with the realness of rapping.
After all members Deployed to Iraq some a 2nd time and some for a 3rd. They hit the ground running upon their return from deployment. With insight provided by by Erika Lovett and with the help of one of Cali’s most talented Party Starters DJ NOTISS they introduced their new installment to a series of mix CD’s titled SO SOUTHERN N DA WEST VOL.1. IN NOV. 2006 with the support of the home states of Texas, Georgia, Mississippi, & New Orleans. SSNDA WEST VOL.1 would go on to sell 17,000 copies mainly being out of their market region in Southern California. With success from their 1st mix CD SouthuNoyz would go on to introduce the highly anticipated 2nd installment titled SO SOUTHERN N DA WEST II.
