PATRONE

Born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan Patrone’s journey into adolescence would prove to be a difficult one. Affiliated through association with gangs at an early age, close family members falling victim to the streets, and nearly losing his life from a gunshot wound to the face, Patrone gravitated to the sounds of hip-hop. Finding music as an escape from the harsh reality that life in Saginaw would provide very few options for his family and himself, he became very passionate. In the spring of 2003, his pursuit gained further steam as La Familia Entertainment recognized Patrone's skills and signed him to a recording deal. Patrone spent most of the last few years recording tracks for his debut album and various mixtapes with various producers such as L.A. producer and Detroit native “Detail” ( Konvict Music, Akon,Mya, Ray J.), ATL native and platinum-producer “D.J. Toomp” (T.I., Young Jeezy), Detroit’s own “Symphony” (Stat Quo, Young Jeezy) and "Trill" (Tape, Wish) among others. With help from his label and a close relationship with “J Street” his time in the grind would be fruitful. Patrone has produced what many Detroit insiders are calling a critically acclaimed material.
