About Me

I am Chip, and I am 38 years old. I like to have fun and to laugh. I am very open minded and dislike fake people. I kinda go through stages where I have no idea what I want out of life. The only thing I have ever been sure about is being a dad and married. I LOVE being a dad and my daughter(Samantha) is my gift from GOD. And I am in love and married to my oldest and best friend. I have known my wife(Sheri) since I was 3 years old.
But....
All I know is that I am not satisfied with my life at times. For now I am clean and sober and learning to have fun without drinking. I don't need people to worry about me. I'm fine. I can figure things out on my own, and if I can't I have some pretty amazing friends and family who I can count on to help me. I view each regret as a lesson learned. Life isn't about finding yourself, it's about creating yourself, and I am a work in progress still. I can be mature when I need to be but I still don't want to be an adult. I spend a lot of time with my daughter so it helps and works. I just moved to VA back in June of 05.
About GOD and Jesus.....
My goal these days is to stay clean and sober. That part of the goal is working, but I felt a void. So I added Jesus. Ok, here is the problem Jesus has been apart of my life for a long time. I may not have been grateful, I may not always goto church. Nor even quit being a sinner. But people in my life have always been there praying for me and share Jesus's love for me. I just did not want to listen or decide to stop caring. I even go years without going to church, praying, and reading the bible. Because of this my heart becomes hard and I hit bottom. At the bottom Jesus is always there and ready to listen. At this point I must decide do I obey Jesus and listen or close my heart. I listen for a while but I hear two voices one good and one bad. I stray off the path of good a lot, and at times it takes years to find my way home.
Ok, right now today, I am home with Jesus. I need to work on my praying and reading the bible. But once again I have some pretty amazing friends and family who I can count on to help me.

Love movies, watch a lot... love scifi and horror the most. Underworld, Anything with (Vampires, Werewolves,and Zombies), Shaun of the Dead, Kill Bill , Matrix, Goodfellas, The Godfather Trilogy, All Harry Potter, All the Star Wars movies, Serenity, Goonies, Super Troopers, Stargate, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo, Brother Bear, Sharks Tales, Saved, Bring it on, Jack Ass, South Park

Television:

I watch to much to name. I watch the Scifi channel more than most. I am a huge fan of BTVS, Angel, Heroes, Smallville, all CSI, 4400, Lost, all Stargates, Jackass, and Southpark. And my daughter has me watching a lot of reality TV these days.

Books:

Ok, I do read a lots of comics but they have pictures!!!

Heroes:

Any ex drunk, druggie, or junkie...quitting sucks, hurts, and is all around unfun. So if you are clean you are my hero. Also the mom who works 2 or more jobs to feed her kids and keep a roof over their heads. But most of all anyone who works hard for a living. And last but not least stay at home moms or dads who go above and beyond to keep the house and family together and happy.
