The Fifth Alliance started out in 2006 as an idea of guitarists Niels and Ivo. After numerous line-up changes, Koen (drums), Silvia (vocals) and Sander (bass) were found to form the solid base of The Fifth Alliance. Music wise The Fifth Alliance's sound can be described as a mixture of hardcore, metal and mathcore completed with aggressive and passionate lyrics!
In the last weekend of September '07, The Fifth Alliance recorded a 4-track MCD called 'Fear Consumption' at Patrick Delabie's Studio 195 in Wernhout.
