There's a number of things I'm quite passionate about. Cooking, home-brewing, snowboarding, Sunday brunch designing, going to farmers markets, growing my food, buying organic groceries from the co-op, passing traffic on my bicycle, the basket of cheese pieces at the wedge, A carob-date smoothie from the Ecopolitan, locally owned coffee shops (I miss Pandora's), brand new socks, philosophical conversations with people who have a similar outlook on life as myself, making vegetarian chili.
I'd like to meet Bjork, and go out and have coffee with her, and then she'd be all like, "Paul, I love you, come and be with me." and I'd be all like, "I'm sorry it has to be this way Bjork, but me and you, it would never work." and then I would walk away into a sunset and her heart would be broken.
Hard one to nail down really. Here's what I've been listening to lately...elector-jazz a-la st. Germain or Nocola Conte, The Killers, Modest Mouse, Ugly Casanova, Bloc Party, Rapture, the Faint, Flaming Lips, any acoustic rock (Martin Sexton is the king), the Beatles (of course), and Bjork. (*sigh*)What I don't listen to: Anything that could be described as "twangy", anything without any actual instruments, or anything with the singer on the cover of "Teen Beat" (or is it Tiger Beat, I forget).
the combination of kung fu, scantily clad girls, explosions, guns and car chases is the recipe for an excellent action flick.I love love love indie films, but strangely enough, If think of my favorite movies, they're all big budget flicks, they include "office space", "the Big Lebowski", "Kill Bill", "Fight Club", and "Carlito's Way"
I like to think of myself as somebody who doesn't watch much tv, but the truth of the matter is that there are several shows that regularly suck me in. Most Recently, they are "The Family Guy", "Mythbusters", "SNL", and an occasional episode of "Curb your Enthusiasm". And of course, I find it hard not to stop on anything playing on the discovery channel or animal planet, but honestly, who can?
