Natifs de Montpellier, SCORCH évolue depuis une dizaine d’année dans un style Fusion Metal Hardcore nourri au Groove. Après un premier album en 2003 et un EP en 2005, unanimement accueillis par la presse spécialisée, le groupe fait désormais partie intégrante du paysage Metal hexagonal. SCORCH s’est depuis forgé une solide expérience scénique avec plus de 150 concerts au compteur un peu partout en France, ainsi qu’en Belgique et République Tchèque, comme en témoignent des lives au cours desquels nos corps et nos papilles ne résistent jamais longtemps…à déguster très chaud avec une pincée de sueur. SCORCH nous régale aujourd’hui de son deuxième album « A GENOUX » (enregistré/mixé/masterisé par Plume au Studio ELP), et nous concocte, comme on s’y attendait, une cuisine épicée fidèle à sa réputation. Un album plus qu’alléchant !! A Table !! A table, mais pas n’importe comment. SCORCH est en effet partisan de nobles causes comme le respect des bonnes recettes de grand-mère sans ogm, ou encore la survie de notre planète, le tout assaisonné de textes à la sauce française où chaque ingrédient est dosé à souhait. Allez, assez parlé… cette fois c’est la bonne : A table !! SCORCH a partagé l’affiche avec, notamment, LOFOFORA, ETHS, WATCHA, PSYKUP, PUNISH YOURSELF, TRIPOD, BLACK BOMB A, L’ESPRIT DU CLAN etc… Nouvel album "A GENOUX" DANS LES BACS!!...................................................... ............................................................ ............................................................ ..........................................Originating from Montpellier in the south of France, SCORCH has been evolving in the last ten years in a mingled style of Metal Fusion mixed with Groove. After a first album in 2003 and an EP out in 2005, both unanimously acclaimed by the press in the know, the band are now an integral part of the French Metal scene. SCORCH have also built themselves a rock solid live background with over 150 dates performed around France and Belgium, proving this to us with shows our physical senses have never quite recovered from… to sample with a pinch of sweat. SCORCH are treating us today with their second album « A GENOUX » ("On your knees" - Recorded/mixed/mastered by Plume at the Studio ELP) and as we expected have served us a deliciously spicy mix their reputation has warned us about… A deliciously baked album!! Let’s eat! Let‘s eat indeed, but not without manners, because SCORCH are partisans of all causes grand and noble, just like in our grandmother’s traditional ungenetically modified recipes, or the wellbeing of our planet and respect of its Nature, the end result beautifully seasoned with a French sauce of carefully selected ingredients. Each and every word has its place in this mix of power and rage. A miracle recipe? No, simply a promising menu with this new album « A GENOUX ».
