'CASTING ASHES' is an Alternative Metal band from southern Indiana founded by former members of the hard rock band Paragium. Casting Ashes founding members Daniel Creal and Kirk Jensen, who left Paragium in 2003, recruited Paragium drummer Josh Rinker after the band dissolved in 2005. Daniel and Kirk had been working on new music since their departure from the band and after reuniting with Josh in late 2005 they formed what is now known as Casting Ashes. Later Casting Ashes recruited Kevin Ekart (former singer/bass of Lotticks Corner/Snap Dragon Expressway) and Jacob Smith, (former lead guitarist of Ravad). The band have just finished their first demo @ Jetlag Recordings and will release a full length CD in the coming months. Check back for updates. -
