MySpace EditorC. Blake Helms began years ago, messing about in his father's (Hugh Helms) studio, playing with the drum machines. He programmed rythmn tracks and played synth on ontol's Species Specific album in 1999, when he was only 6.
In 2002, C. Blake Helms was introduced to ACID PRO by DIOXIDE's Brian Scheuerle, and began constructing compositions using that program. MODULE 1 is the result of 10 year-old Blake's experiments using ACID PRO.
Two of Blake's compositions were featured on Dan Crall's radio program "The Sound Experiment", and he was interviewed.
Blake is now almost 15, and occasionally plays with his dad's MC303 and is studying the trumpet, but currently has not said whether he will release another album.
