Life is short

Don't take life too seriously, you won't get out alive

About Me

I am not a fan of this "about me" stuff. So, I'll rather start with "above me". At the moment there is just the white ceiling in my living room with a lonely dusty light bulb above me. This light bulb is waiting for a nice lamp shade since a year. Because a year ago I moved from Cologne to Hamburg to start a new job. And now the light bulb is mortally offended because her neighbour light bulb got a very nice lamp shade a few weeks ago. Well, I know thats not fair but I don't have a money tree in the backyard. This is something this light bulb has to understand. Life's a fucking bitch sometimes. Anyway. Lets go on with "above me". Sometimes there is just the sky above me. I like it very much when the sky is above me. It gives me a feeling of freedom. Unless its raining. Though, sometimes I even like it when its raining. Or if I imagine rain and sun above me that'll be something really great because then there would be a rainbow above me. By day job there are these fucking neon lamps above me. I hate light from neon lamps. But only every third neon lamp is installed at my working place. Because the industry tries to save money. Or better lets say, the industry saves money regarding electric light in offices. In general I am not so sure about that topic. However, during the day work I am sitting in a big open-place office with my colleagues and we have this neon light above us which makes us look like zombies with ashy pale faces. Nice imagination all these working zombies all day, isn't it? To be honest, I am not absolutely certain if there maybe are some real zombies among my colleagues. But as long as these neon lamps are installed I'll never discover the truth. In my free time in the evening I like it very much to have cruddy dark sweat-soacked and smoke-pervaded ceilings above me. Because then I am in one of these pleasant clubs listening and dancing to nice music like rock, punk or punkrock and of course FAST FORWARD ROCK'N'ROLL. The best is to hear and feel the music live on concerts. You see, I like these dark, dirty ceilings above me very much. Something I never have above me are umbrellas. I always forget umbrellas anywhere. And I also tell you, I'll never have the "holy light" above me! ;-) So, that should be enough for the start. If you want to know more "about me", just ask.

My Interests

music, music, music, learning to play drums, fast forward rock'n'roll, live concerts, enjoying life, mountains, the sea, sports in general, jogging (marathon), MTB/spinning, diving, sailing, climbing/hiking, to wine and dine, sunshine, travelling around the world, drilling a few thousand meters down to earth's core (okay, okay, not that deep but I would like to)...

I'd like to meet:

Moreover I would like to meet everyone who is addicted to music. And I would like to meet this myspace guy who is of the opinion that someone born on the 22nd of November is a sagittarius. Bullshit, i say bullshit. Never make a scorpio angry! But what's even more important: Who I don't want to meet: Harry Potter Fans! I hate Harry Potter. The only thing Harry Potter and me have in common is the scar on the forehead. My scar, however, refers back to a schuss with a bad mounted toilet seat at the house of my aunt. The schuss ended painful with my forehead at the radiator. So, the result of this unmeant toilet-seat race was a laceration that needed to be stiched up. To my defence: I was six years old and (therefore) not drunken. I have a second scar on my forehead. This second scar is also from an incident at my younger age. It was an attempt to persuade my grandma that I would be able to spin around my own axis for a long time and then walk straight forward. Well, what can I say, it didn't work. I did not run straight forward but straight into the corner of our fireside. Boing! I was so sure that i could manage it. But you learn from mistakes. And you need to test your limits. Well, there are some more scars...

It would also be nice to meet guys like these...
