SDG’s Mexico City Report!! "30January2008 Ciuadad de Mexico D.F.
No se por que pasa...? Is it because we are Californian that we are so warmly welcomed in Mexico...? Well it was warm indeed, shorts & tank-top weather – which was quite a shock for us this time of year up here in freeze-your-ass-off-land. So it was good weather, good food, good drinks and good friends and we felt in top form to bring some Heavy Metal to the Hard Rock. We totally appreciate the fans who came out and thrashed it out for us and the killer support bands. For such quick notice, as we were taking the spot recently vacated by D.D.P. and little time to promote, it was a great turn-out and a really crazy and loud audience. I went to a television studio and was interviewed live on the air for a cable metal show, Telehit. The next day we actually afforded ourselves a day off and went to some crazy Aztec pyramids, it was here and when we felt the true Mexican spirit! Also want to thank Ricardo, Ayu, Francisco, Christian, Edgar and the rest of the gang for an awesome time there. And would love to also complain about the lovely American Airlines and the Dallas/Ft. Worth airport. What a cluster f**k... Well, we’re home alive and in possession of all our gear......barely. Good thing though, we finally have some local shows that I can start to pump. The “for sure†ones are somewhere in Sacramento on Friday March 28th, and on Sunday March 30th in San Francisco at The Independent with Testament. There are other Bay Area shows that are just awaiting a few final details to be announced, but when that falls in I’ll post all the upcoming shows.

SADUS Replaces DUBLIN DEATH PATROL At Mexico City Concert - Jan. 6, 2008
San Francisco Bay Area metal veterans SADUS have replaced DUBLIN DEATH PATROL (DDP) as the headlining band for the January 25 concert at Hard Rock Live in Mexico City.
"Rock Thursdays apologize that DDP could not perform at the gig scheduled for January 26 since almost 15 days before the gig 80% of the tickets were already sold," a statement from the concert organizers reads. "But for all the metalheads in our country, we are able put on the same day and the same venue a great band of the thrash scene, SADUS, with the legend Steve DiGiorgio. The local act VOLTAX will still play the gig."The End Records released SADUS’ latest album, entitled "Out for Blood", North America in May 2006. The CD was released in Europe in February 2006 via Holland’s Mascot Records.The follow-up to 1997’s "Elements of Anger", "Out for Blood" was recorded at Trident Studios in California with producer Børge Finstad (MAYHEM, BORKNAGAR, VINTERSORG, EXTOL), engineer Juan Urteaga and manager Rob Lewis. The album features a guest appearance on one track by TESTAMENT frontman Chuck Billy.

San Juan, Puerto Rico.
In the continuing quest to visit all of Latin America, the chance to play the US occupied island in the Caribbean came up. And just like all our Southern neighbors, we felt welcome and long overdue to bring the Sadus Attack. The rain was randomly pounding and the beers were just as watery...but during the brutal sets of the two support bands the fans filled in and prepared to witness the old-school set compiled by these aging Sadudes. The enthusiasm was at a high level the whole show even though the bass amp died half-way through, but Señor Luis on the sound board saved the mix with the DI. It was a crazy time meeting all the fans after the show and going around to the death metal sidewalk concert at 3am. I want to thank Alberto, Carlos and Ray for helping us the entire time...herbal thanks go to the multi-talented Hendrix...y sobre todo gracias a todos nuestros nuevos amigos y amigas de Puerto Rico para un tiempo bueno...and you can trust, we will back....!
