About Me

I’m a professional during the day who happens to have a soft spot for animals (particularly dogs and especially cats). I got involved in a group at work and thought to myself “why can’t I take this one step further and try to reach out to more than just a population of a couple hundred?” So, here I am…
Our Mission:
The mission of AZPAWS is to educate the Arizona public on feral cats and wildlife, provide education and information on all pets and wildlife, and to keep the Arizona neighborhoods clean and respectful of all living beings.
We are here to help connect prospective adopters to loving dogs and cats who are in desperate need of finding a home (foster and/or permanent). These dogs and cats are in immediate need of a home and have often times been rescued from a shelter (euthanized list) or home so time is of essence. All adoptions will be posted in the form of bulletins and blogs so you will be alerted immediately (please be sure to subscribe to the blogs for immediate notification).
I do not personally handle the adoptions; they are reposts that I recieve and are often times second or third hand information but are highly credible (directly from the shelters/adoptee's). I simply try to make the information available to you in hope that they can find a loving home. **If you happen to adopt or foster an animal as a result of a posting, please let me know! I would LOVE to hear your success story!!**
We also plan on providing information on TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) programs to help the feral cat population in the greater Phoenix and outlying areas. TNR programs have been shown to be the most effective method of dealing with existing feral cat populations and also stops new, unwanted cats from being born.

My Interests

This profile is dedicated to all the furry creatures that have ever marked their presence in my life (no pun intended)... and trust me, there's been many. Dogs, cats, birds and fish alike from the banks of the Bering Sea in Alaska to the sunny skies here in Arizona. If I can help just a few homeless animals find a new home, educate just a few people on local resources or help spay/neuter a few feral kitties, my job is done.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone (preferably in Arizona) who gets squishy for animals! Please, invite others to join! If you're a friend of a friend, an organization that supports animal safety, you're an animal lover, you're looking to adopt an animal or want to learn more about how you can keep our furry animals safe - this profile is for you!Thank you!
