My Interests

I love nature!! I love being outdoors either at the beach, in the desert or hiking in the local mountians. It is there that I am most at peace. I love my family!! My parents are my role models and my heroes, my daughter is my inspiration and my husband is my LOVE!!! We may not be the Cleavers but we are pretty cool people, if I do say so myself. My new passions are photography, cooking and gardening. This may have something to do with being a mommy~~~I love Bonfires at the beach...~~~

Music:

I'm a hippie at heart. I love Led Zeppelin, Heart, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, Santana and so on (all of whom I have been lucky enough to see in concert). I also am "stuck" in the 80's. I love 80's and early 90's rock. Guns N' Roses (Axl and his new group of guys sound better than ever!!!! Best concert by far last night 12/17/06), Metallica, Skid Row (Sebastian kicked ASS last night in concert 12/17/06), Bon Jovi (who I saw in concert 3/06.....THEY ROCK!). Godsmack is AWESOME! etc. I especially enjoy the Blues. BB King, Stevie Ray and so on. I enjoy all music, I just enjoy certain types more. I also Love country.

Movies:

Some of my favorites are, "Something Wicked This Way Comes", "Lost Boys" and the "Craft",Shawshank Redemption, American History X, anything M. Night Shyamalan

Television:

CSI Vegas and CSI Miami, Medium, House, Cold Case, Supernatural, American Idol, Ghost Whisperer, Numbers, Criminal Minds, Without a Trace, Family Guy and Days of Our Lives.

Books:

The Celestine Prophecy and anything Dean Koontz

Heroes:

This man is my hero. He has carried, pulled and pushed his handicapped son in more than 200 marathons and triatholons. His son told him that when he is in the races, it is the only time he feels "normal". So his father has made it his mission in life to get in shape and compete as often as possible so his son won't feel handicapped, even if only for a few hours.
