I am Marco, a Dj from Costa Rica, I was born in germany and lived there for a time, i am half finnish, half costa rican. I like to play psychedelic music ranging from ambient to twisted dark psychedelic trance. I also like to play progressive trance. It always depends on the mood of the dancefloor. I like to play sets which are good to dance to as well as for the listeners. It´s a massage for the soul & body. As a yoga teacher, I like to apply all my knowledge to the music I play. I like to play a lot music from southafrican trance artists like Zion linguist, Artifakt and many other of these great musicians. I also felt in love with the scandinavian sounds, I think its something that is carried in the blood and in the soul. I love those synth sounds that are so typical for music made in scandinavia and russia. Since i was a young boy i always had psychedelic musical influences in my life, starting by Pink floyd, The Orb, The Legendary Pink Dots, the Who, Janis Joplin, and many other groups from the psychedelic 60 & 70´s Era. I was able to listen to this music due to my fathers love to music. So I grew up listening to Pink Floyd, the Orb and all these other groups, and as I got bigger i went to a psychedelic goa party at a mystical place here in Costa Rica in the mountains in ´99, that day the whole Universe took a twist, I started to experiment with psychedelic trance and became aware of the power of transformation, which has the ritual of dance. Music is a language which everybody can understand no matter the color of the skin, the religion, the beliefs, the social background, the country, it has no limitations. So i started to mix at parties usually at afterhours in 2001. I quickly joined a group of people here, which organizes outdoor goa parties, Our "colectivo" is called Psychedelic nomads. We have been doing parties for over 8 years now, always trying to seek for the visitor a marvelous secure psychedelic experience, this means to make the party at an incredible nature outdoor set. I like to play at underground parties here in Costa Rica, since the scenarios always are so wonderful, since the party can be done at a nice beach, or at the mountains. In August 2006 I went to Boom Festival in Portugal and hosted a Yoga Workshop called Integral Balance. In October 2006 I was able to play at the ya´sta club in madrid, Spain. And some other underground parties around madrid and bilbao. Lately I have been also producing some own music and soundscapes. I am able to travel, and always looking for a gig, a nice spot where to play music and to enjoy. Lately I have been joining forces with a very good friend of mine who is a profesional latin percusionist, this adds really some spice into the dancefloor!! Creating new energies!!
