About Me

There are certain difficulties in being a polymath when growing up: in particular, which way to jump when it comes time to decide what one is going to do with one's life.Music? Graphic arts? Science? Literature?I eventually ended up landing on the last one. I LOVE literature. I love reading good writing. And I love writing. All sorts of writing.

My Interests

Writing, art, writing, archery, writing, music, writing, swimming.... oh, and writing. Did I mention writing?

I'd like to meet:

Folks who love good storytelling in any form.

Music:

Almost anything if it's good musically. Classic rock, alternate rock, traditional folk music, classical music, jazz (certain types), international... Like I said, if it's good musically, I'll listen.

Movies:

Action flicks, adventure, thrillers, comedies, romantic comedies.... a good story. My feel good pop-ins: Galaxy Quest, The Quiet Man. Other faves: Lawrence of Arabia, The Silence of the Lambs, Manhunter (Michael Mann, director)

Television:

Detective shows, procedurals, action. Not much for soap opera or sitcoms.

Books:

The Lord of the Rings, All Hallow's Eve, The Complete Sherlock Holmes, Gaudy Night

Heroes:

Sherlock Holmes. Corrie Ten Boom.

TRAVELS, HOLIDAYS AND OVERHAULS

My whole autumn got screwed up. Well, maybe "screwed up" isn't the phrase to use, considering the major event that disrupted the flow of things was my mother's death. That resulted in two trips from L...
