About Me


i'm a 25 year old graduate from the university of buffalo's school of architecture & planning...i just finished attending a summer program at harvard university's graduate school of design for architecture... next adventure exactly = TBA. i'm ready to start the next chapter of my life in the city, attend grad school after working for awhile...i had my doubts before i headed to boston but i realized i can't imagine doing anything else...DESIGN is the love of my life, so why would i risk not doing what i love? currently i am job hunting, spending time with my family and working on my portfolio...i'm ready to find out more about myself through this process of reflection, ready to see where my life will lead and anticipating what the world has in store for me...

i love meeting new people...people that love to laugh, make me laugh & have fun...people with personality, fellow designers & artists, concert goers & music lovers! if you love cities, i might love you. you meet the most random, awesome people at concerts...artsy, creative types usually are eclecticly fun and entertaining...i love to see what others create...people that have a passion in life or goals for themselves...please don't take me, themselves or life too seriously...i love the outdoors & the indoors, given mood determining...i love to travel and go to new places, see new things...if you like road trips, are addicted to design, listening to good music & laughing you just might be someone i'd like to meet...

Music:

i'm a total music and concert junky...love discovering new music, don't know where half the stuff i listen to comes from...love listening to everything from legends to what's on the radio (although not too much is good on there recently), going to live shows, listening to random recordings, etc etc etc...

Movies:

sleepless in seattle - back to the future flicks - how to lose a guy in 10 days - an affair to remember - got mail - goonies - kill bill series - when harry met sally - dazed and confused - pretty in pink - 50 first dates - ET - ghostbusters - closer - the wizard of oz - empire records - garden state - memento - jerry mcguire - my architect - the princess bride - garden state - it's a wonderful life - pretty woman - the breakfast club - dirty dancing - the sweetest thing...

Television:

GREY'S ANATOMY! - guilty of endulging myself in watching some "reality" tv, NOT survivor - medium - CONAN - sex & the city - sunday morning on cbs - friends - VH1's behind the music - started watching LOST (stopped because that's how it makes me feel) - LETTERMAN - new show six degrees (and i believe the theory could be true) - shows you are supposed to try & figure out but i'd prefer if you keep it to yourself...

Books:

taking advantage of having the time to read for pleasure...love david serdaris, travel guides, all design related books & magazines...

Heroes:

no one inparticular...i admire those who take risks in life to follow thier dreams...i admire those who speak thier minds, with words or other means...
