Sometimes letting go is what saves you

About Me

I am a fun, outgoing, giggly girl/woman. I have a nineteen year-old son. I love to laugh, be spontaneous, travel, listen to music (especially live music). I also play music (guitar) and sing (I've been told I sound like Stevie Nicks). Don't like karaoke though, so don't ask. Ha! I like going to the beach, the mountains, flea markets, spending Sundays reading the paper and being lazy. Also, if you're under 30, don't bother e-mailing me and if you want to talk about sex and the size of your dick, don't bother me with that either, I'm not interested.

I'm Krusty, who are you? by NoHomers.net
You Are 20 Years Old
Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe.
13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.
20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.
30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!
40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax. What Age Do You Act?

My Interests

Reading, playing music, listening to music, movies, trivia (love Trivial Pursuit!), working out, swimming in the ocean, watching my son grow up, watching my son play baseball (he's a really great first baseman!), watching the leaves change, driving my car to the beach, spending time with my sisters, gazing into the fireplace (if I had one), cooking (especially new things) and waking up every morning!

I'd like to meet:

All kinds of people - especially ones with great senses of humor and lots of intelligence, who like to have fun. Friendly, warm, outgoing - these are the traits that attract me.

Music:

A Perfect Circle, Stone Temple Pilots, Ramones, The Clash, Sheryl Crowe, Anita Baker, Foo Fighters, Velvet Revolver, Gang of Four, Joni Mitchell, Audioslave, System of a Down, Linkin Park, Led Zeppelin, The Who, anything loud and heavy

Movies:

Anchorman, Remains of the Day, Requiem of a Dream, Animal House, Fargo, any black comedy. Pieces of April, Scarface, The Bad Seed (this is a really old movie about a little girl gone bad, obviously!), Waiting for Guffman, Party Girl, Pumpkin, Armageddon, (I love anything with Bruce Willis!), Night Shift, Meet the Fockers, The Ring, Blair Witch Project...Me and Pokey - love her lots!

Television:

You are totally Patsy, sweetie! Eddy's best friend,
and Bolly-Stoli swigging, drug induced,
ex-model counterpart, Patsy Stone. Cheers
darling! Thanks a lot! That bitch daughter of
yours must be some sort of company.

Books:

I used to read two or three books at a time, but don't really do that much anymore, although I am always reading something. I love Vanity Faire magazine, which has so many articles in it, it is like reading a book every month. I love People magazine too. I like to read Patricia Cornwall, Stephen King, Dean Koontz. I read Cold Mountain last summer and it was the first book I read in a long time that I thought about for months afterwards. Right now I'm reading a book about a woman who investigates plane crashes, it's kinda cool.

Heroes:

I would have to say my mom is my hero. I have three sisters and my dad died suddenly when I was 14 and she put all of us through college. She is the strongest person I know and every day I aspire to make her proud of me.

My Son's Birthday

Today is my son's 18th birthday.  I should be happy that he's making the transition from boyhood to adulthood.  But I'm not.  All I can think about is that his father is not here to sha...
